Born in Bosisio Parini in the 1960,started to play drums at the age of 11. When he was 17 started to study with the great teacher Lucchini t the Capolinea of Milan (Italy).
Attended seminars with artists such as Elvin Jones,Peter Erskine,Steve Gadd,Jack De Johnette,Paul Wertico,Gregg Bissonette,Trilok Gurtu,Steve Smith,Jamey Haddad.
He partecipates to a lot of events such as Festival delle Percussioni (Ciak Theater in Milan) in the ’91,Tirano abd St. Moritz in the ’94, Lugano’s Jazz Festival in the ’97 and ’98 Zugos’ Jazz Festival in the ’98,Montreaux’s Jazz Festival in the ’99,and many more…
Since 4 years he do seminars in Italy,Switzerland,Spain,Germany…He also is coauthor of the drum method Nuovi Orizzonti Musicali released from BMG Ricordi.
