Moritz Müller was born in Wuerzburg into a musical family. He was first inspired by the drummer of his father’s band and later also the American drummer Jim Evans who lived and worked in Wuerzburg for several years.
After finishing school he met Udo Dahmen who then became his teacher fort he following years during his studies at the Popakademie in Mannheim.
His band “The Intersphere” was founded shortly after he had moved to Mannheim. The Intersphere has released two albums and plays on festivals such as Rock Im Park and Rock Am Ring.
Moritz also features on various other projects like Jasper van t’Hofs “Hotlips”, guitarist Ali Neander’s Fusion project featuring Hellmut Hattler.
Additionally, Moritz has worked with many more artists including Aura Dione, Julia Neigel, Moses P., Bobby Kimball, Xavier Naidoo, The Weathergirls and Midge Ure (Ultravox).
He lives in Mannheim where, from time to time, he also appears as a guest teacher at Popakademie.
In 2011 he performed at the Montreal Drum Festival.
